Our sapphires come from a small network of trusted suppliers who share our values of transparency, care, and craftsmanship. Many are sourced from Fair Trade Gemstones, a family-run business with over forty years of experience in responsible mining and trading. For more unusual hues — soft greens, velvety teals, and smoky greys — we work closely with Nineteen48, (who operate their own mines and cutting houses in Sri Lanka). Their approach is rooted in fair labour practices and low-impact mining, ensuring each stone is traced directly from its source. We are also huge fans of Misfit who are champions of unusual colours and cuts. These partnerships allow us to offer sapphires that are not only beautiful, but also ethical — chosen for integrity as much as colour and clarity.
