Things to consider before going bespoke

Creating jewellery to celebrate the most intimate ceremonies in life is something we love most at KIND Collection. We are honoured to be a part of our customers journey, and want to make their experience as seamless and positive as possible. To help you discover whether bespoke is the way to go, we have outlined a number of questions to ask yourself before you start the process.

Are you based in the UK and available for in person consultations and meetings? Or would you prefer/require discussions to be arranged via zoom.

If you would like to arrange an in person meeting, please book an appointment – here. If you would like to arrange a time to speak via zoom, please send an email to hello@kindjewellery.com.

What would you like your piece to symbolise?

Are you creating a piece of jewellery to celebrate a special occasion (i.e a birthday, anniversary, life event).

Have you considered which precious metals would best suit your piece? Do you have a preference in carat or colour?

There are many reasons for using different metals and we can walk you through this process. If you are unsure of the difference between metal colours and carats and the reasoning of choosing one over another, we can assist you in your appointment. We use 9ct or 18ct Gold or platinum in our bespoke jewellery – however if you would like to include your own precious metals, we will happily work your existing materials into your jewellery.

Are you looking to include any gemstones?

If so, is there a colour or shape that you are interested in? We can source a range of precious gemstones and diamonds to use in your design or you can repurpose your own vintage or heirloom stones.

Do you have a budget in mind?

To offer you the best possible options when sourcing materials it can be helpful for us to get an indication of your budget. If you are not sure, we can discuss this further with you during your appointment or over the phone. Please note that our bespoke designs start from £1,200.

Do you need your jewellery completed by a certain date?

As your bespoke piece will be handmade to order, we have an 8 week lead time for all designs. Depending on the complexity of the jewellery and our current workflow, we can sometimes have the piece completed within a shorter timeframe. We will always do our best to work within your timeline and knowing your due date helps us manage our schedule.

We would love to help you bring your vision to life, so if you have any questions about our bespoke services please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
